JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Login

JEE Main Admit Card: National Testing Agency has released JEE Main 2026 hall ticket online at official website. Candidates need to use their application number and password to download JEE Main admit card 2026. However, sometimes they face login errors like OTP not received or failing validation, or session timed out or OTP or password not working. In such cases, they are advised to double check their password and different browsers to download JEE Main 2026 admit card. 

The official JEE Main admit card download link is available only on NTA JEE site: jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per schedule, JEE Main session 1 exam will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 for Paper 1. Whereas, Paper 2a and 2b will be held on January 29 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Password not working or forgotten? Know What to do 

Many students face problems like JEE Main login page not opening and session timing out. Sometimes it shows incorrect application number or registration details. Also, heavy traffic on NTA website may cause delays or errors in downloading JEE Main 2026 admit card. These problems are usually technical and can often be resolved by going through these steps 

How to Resolve JEE Main Password Issues? 

If password is created during JEE Main registration is not working, then candidates can

  • Double-check their password. They must make sure, they are entering correct application number and password.
  • Check for case sensitivity capital letters and small letters, space errors or typos

Use “Forgot Password” option

  • Go to official login page on jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click Forgot Password
  • Choose one of recovery methods: OTP via registered mobile or OTP via registered email, or Security question answer, if set during registration
  • Follow instructions to set new password and then log in again

Try a Different Browser or Device

Sometimes, login issues are caused by browser incompatibility or cache problems. Try:

  • Chrome or Firefox
  • Clearing browser cache and cookies
  • Using incognito mode

This often fixes session and login errors.

Check Email 

Search email inbox and spam folder for earlier messages from NTA, sometimes, password or application number may be recorded there. This is especially helpful if candidates forgot them.

Fixing OTP Failure (Not Receiving OTP)

Common login issue is not receiving or validating OTP required to reset password. The problem may be caused due to 

  • Poor mobile network or internet connection
  • SMS delays due to server or traffic issues on NTA portal
  • OTP landing in spam or junk inbox
  • Registered mobile or email details incorrect or inactive

What Candidates can do? 

  • OTP delivery can be delayed during high website traffic, wait a few minutes before retrying.
  • Sometimes OTP is sent only to email or only as SMS, check both channels.
  • OTP is sent only to the number and email that has been provided during registration, make sure they were entered correctly.
  • If OTP isn’t working, choose security question reset or email reset 

What can candidates do to resolve OTP or Password issues at their end? 

Students are advised to check internet stability, use updated browser amd clear cache and cookies. They can also try different device. They can also try logging in at offpeak hours when traffic is lower. 

What to do If they Forgot JEE Main Application Number? 

Students can use forgot application number option on login page. They will need name, parent name and DOB to retrieve it.

  • Check Registered Email/SMS History
  • Avoid Unofficial Sites
  • Only use official NTA website and do not rely on third party or coaching portals to download JEE Main 2026 admit card.

NTA has released JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card for exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24. For the January 28 and 29 exams, the admit card will be issued soon.

Q:   What is the last date to download JEE Mains admit card?
A:

Candidates can download the JEE Main admit card until the day of the exam. After the exam day, no admit card would be available on the NTA JEE Main website.

Q:   Can I get entry to the exam centre if I have JEE Mains admit card PDF in my mobile?
A:

Candidates will not be allowed entry inside JEE Main exam centre without the printout of JEE Mains admit card downloaded from the website. It is mandatory to downlaod the JEE Main admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam centre.
