The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the JEE Mains 2026 hall tickets for candidates who have their exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24. However, the admit card for exams on January 28 and 29 is yet to be released. NTA has notified that admit cards for students with exams on January 28 and 29 will be out in due course.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the JEE Mains 2026 hall tickets for candidates who have their exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24. However, the admit card for exams on January 28 and 29 is yet to be released. NTA has notified that admit cards for students with exams on January 28 and 29 will be out in due course.

After downloading the admit card, candidates must read all the instructions printed on the second page and follow them on the exam day. Fill out the self-declaration form, which is available on the first page of the admit card itself.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card – What Candidates Must Know Now

The JEE Main 2026 admit card is now officially available for exams from January 21 to 24. They can download the hall ticket online using their application number and password. With the exam starting soon, students are advised to check all details carefully and follow NTA’s exam-day instructions strictly.

  • Admit card status: Released for exams from January 21 to 24. To be released for exams on January 28 and 29.
  • What it contains: Exam date, shift timing, reporting time, exam centre address, photograph, instructions, roll number bar code and QR code.
  • Mandatory document: Entry to the exam centre is allowed only with a printed copy of the hall ticket.
  • Verification alert: Candidates must ensure their name, photo and signature are correct on the admit card.
  • Discrepancy support: Any error must be reported immediately via the NTA helpdesk.
Exam Day Reminder: Reach your JEE Main 2026 exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card, as late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Release Date for January 28 & 29 Exams

NTA issued the hall tickets for exams on January 21 to 24, three days before.

Therefore, following a similar timeline, we can expect NTA to issue hall tickets for the January 28 and 29 exams on January 24.

NTA will hold the JEE Main 2026 exam on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29. JEE Main 2026 paper 1 exams will be held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28. Paper 2 will be held on January 29.

Paper 1 exam will have two shifts - 9 AM to 12 Noon and 3 PM to 6 PM. The paper 2 exam will be held in one shift only, 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

How to Download JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026

Follow the steps below to download the JEE Main admit card:

  1. On Google - type: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Now on the homepage, under the "candidate activity" section, look for two links available for the admit card download.
  3. Select any one link and after that login with your application number, password and the security pin shown.
  4. Under thelogin, the admit card will appear. Download it and take its print.

    JEE Mains Admit Card 2026: Current status

    As of January 18, 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the initial phase of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exams:

    Hall tickets are currently available for candidates appearing for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026.

    Admit cards for exams scheduled on January 28 and 29 have not yet been released. Based on the current pattern of releasing cards approximately 3 to 4 days before the specific exam date, candidates can expect them on or around January 24, 2026.

    The JEE Main 2026 admit card has been issued for exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24 on January 17.

    Currently, the admit cards are awaited for exams to be held on January 28 (Paper 1) and January 29 (Paper 2a and 2b).

    JEE Mains Admit Card 2026 LIVE: Jammers and CCTV at exam centres

    All the JEE Mains examination centres will be under the surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers.

    Centres are equipped with jammers to prevent any communication via mobile networks or other electronic devices during the examination. All electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly banned inside the hall.

    JEE Main 2026 exam starts on January 21: Check Exam hall rules

    1. The candidate must reach the Centre at the time as indicated against Reporting/Entry time at the Centre, in the Admit Card.
    2. No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. If any candidate is found indulging in any unfair means/unfair examination practices at any stage of examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled, and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA.
    3. No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
    4. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room / Hall before the end of the examination.

    Candidates have to paste their recent photo and put left hand thumb impression on the printed JEE Main hall ticket. Check details below:

    • Paste photo - After candidates have downloaded the admit card and taken its print, they can see a space for pasting the photo. Before reaching the JEE Main exam centre, candidates have to paste their photo in the space. The photo should be the same as the one uploaded in the online JEE Main 2026 application form.
    • Left hand thumb impression - Candidates have to put their left-hand thumb impression on the space provided in the admit card before they reach the exam hall.

    The candidates who have their exams on January 21, 22, 23, and 24 can now doenload their JEE Mains admit card from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

    The admit card can be downloaded until the exam day. But candidates are advised to doenload the admit card as soon as possible.

    Take prints out of the admit card to carry on the exam day with valid Id proofs for entry.

    Without the admit card, no candidates will be allowed inside the exam centre.
