JEE Main 2026 Admit Card (OUT) Live: NTA Hall Ticket Date for Jan 28, 29 Exam, Link Out for Jan 21-24

As of January 18, 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the initial phase of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exams:

Hall tickets are currently available for candidates appearing for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026.

Admit cards for exams scheduled on January 28 and 29 have not yet been released. Based on the current pattern of releasing cards approximately 3 to 4 days before the specific exam date, candidates can expect them on or around January 24, 2026.

The JEE Main 2026 admit card has been issued for exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24 on January 17.

Currently, the admit cards are awaited for exams to be held on January 28 (Paper 1) and January 29 (Paper 2a and 2b).

Once releasd, the JEE Main 2026 admit card for the rest of the exam days will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

 Over the past few years, NTA has deployed many modern technologies to detect different types of malpractices. NTA has a mechanism to;

1. Use non-intrusive technology to identify malpractices.
2. Analyse the behaviour of students who passed answers to others and those who received answers.
3. Use technologies to reveal cheating behaviour even after the exams.
4. Catch likely cheaters through Artificial Intelligence based tools.
5. Monitor centres continuously through artificial intelligence enabled systems.

All the JEE Mains examination centres will be under the surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers.

Centres are equipped with jammers to prevent any communication via mobile networks or other electronic devices during the examination. All electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly banned inside the hall.

1. The candidate must reach the Centre at the time as indicated against Reporting/Entry time at the Centre, in the Admit Card.
2. No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. If any candidate is found indulging in any unfair means/unfair examination practices at any stage of examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled, and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA.
3. No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
4. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room / Hall before the end of the examination.
5. Upon completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from the Invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised. The candidates will be permitted to move out, one at a time only.

On the exam day, after the exam:

1. Rough sheets must be dropped in the designated Drop Box before leaving the hall.
2. Duly filled JEE Main admit card 2026 must be dropped in the Drop Box while leaving the hall.

The NTA JEE Mains 2026 consists of four Pages:

• Page 1 contains the Centre details and Self Declaration (Undertaking)
• Page 2 has “Important instructions for candidates”
• Page 3 has “Important Advisory”
• Page 4 is a Declaration from Non-Aadhar Candidates

Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:

• Personal transparent water bottle
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
• Admit Card downloaded from NTA website (clear A4 printout) duly filled in
• Additional 01 passport-size photograph for Attendance Sheet
• Original valid ID proof as uploaded in the online application form

As per the official dress code mentioned on the JEE Main admit card 2026:

1. Shoes with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.

Apart from that, candidates should also take care of these:

• Do not wear jewellery (rings, earrings, bangles), belts, caps, or scarves.
• Candidates wearing religious or customary attire (e.g., Kirpan, Hijab) must report at least one hour earlier for mandatory frisking.
• Wallets, handbags, goggles, and umbrellas should be avoided.

• Admit Card: A clear printout on A4-sized paper.
• Valid Photo ID (Original): Aadhaar Card (preferred), PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
• Passport-size Photographs: At least 2 copies (matching the one on your application) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
• Self-Declaration (Undertaking): Downloaded from the NTA website, duly filled and signed.
• PwD Certificate: If applicable, issued by a competent authority.
• Photo verification certificate: Only for those candidates who were sent emails from NTA for the photo verification certificate upload.

As of January 18, 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the admit cards for JEE Main 2026 exams scheduled for January 28 and 29. Admit cards are currently only available for those with exams on January 21, 22, 23, and 24.

• Official Status: Admit cards for candidates appearing on January 28 and 29 will be released "in due course".
• Expected Release Date: Based on the current timeline, where hall tickets for early dates (Jan 21 to 24) were released four days prior, candidates can expect these admit cards around January 24, 2026.

After downloading the JEE Mains admit card, students often make mistakes like ignoring detail verification or forgetting to print it on time.

Candidates should avoid waiting until the last moment. Another common mistake is not checking the exam centre location in advance. Students should also avoid over-stressing after admit card release. Staying calm and confident is important. Proper planning and awareness can help avoid last-minute issues.

 NTA has officially stated these JEE Main 2026 hall tickets will be released "in due course". Based on the current pattern of releasing cards approximately 3 to 4 days before the specific exam date, they are expected to be available around January 24, 2026.

Currently, admit cards are available only for candidates appearing on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026. NTA issued the admit card for candidates on these dates on January 17, 2026

The JEE Main 2026 admit card download link is now working for all candidates. Both links of the JEE Main admit card are available at jeemain.nta.nic.in are now working fine. Candidates can use either of the links to doenload their admit card.

Admit cards are currently available for exams scheduled on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026.

Hall tickets for exams on January 28 and 29 have not yet been released and will be available in due course.

Candidates have to paste their recent photo and put left hand thumb impression on the printed JEE Main hall ticket. Check details below:

• Paste photo - After candidates have downloaded the admit card and taken its print, they can see a space for pasting the photo. Before reaching the JEE Main exam centre, candidates have to paste their photo in the space. The photo should be the same as the one uploaded in the online JEE Main 2026 application form.
• Left hand thumb impression - Candidates have to put their left-hand thumb impression on the space provided in the admit card before they reach the exam hall.
• Signature - The signature is to be done in the space provided on the admit card. However, this is to be done on the exam day in the presence of the invigilator. Therefore, keep this space blank.

Candidates have to carry these on the JEE Main exam day:

1. Admit card along with filled in Self Declaration
2. One passport-size photo
3. Any one photo ID proof among – valid School Identity Card/ PAN card / Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ e-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
4. Medical certificate (for PwD/PwBD candidates to avail scribe service)
5. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen

The candidates who have their exams on January 21, 22, 23, and 24 can now doenload their JEE Mains admit card from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The admit card can be downloaded until the exam day. But candidates are advised to doenload the admit card as soon as possible.

Take prints out of the admit card to carry on the exam day with valid Id proofs for entry.

Without the admit card, no candidates will be allowed inside the exam centre.
