JEE Main Hall Ticket: National Testing Agency is expected to release JEE Main 2026 January session hall ticket shortly. NTA has notified in information brochure that JEE Main admit card will be released 3 to 4 days before exam. Hence, it is expected that JEE Main hall ticket 2026 will be issued by January 17 or 18. Once released, candidates can download JEE Main 2026 hall ticket online at official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. They have to use their application number and password to download JEE Main hall ticket 2026.Â
On exam day, candidates have to carry printed copy of JEE Main admit card with valid government ID proof. Earlier, JEE Main city intimation slips for session 1 were released which has information about student’s exam city and date. JEE Main hall ticket will have details on exam shift, timings and allotted centre address.Â

According to past trends and latest reports, JEE Main 2026 session 1 exams are scheduled from January 21 to 29, 2026. Usually, JEE Main admit card is released 3 to 4 days before each exam date. Hence, it is likely that JEE Main 2026 hall ticket will be released by January 17 or 18 for most candidates.

Candidates must be prepared on JEE Main exam day.Â
- They must carry printed JEE Main 2026 hall ticketÂ
- It must be self-attest with candidate’s signature and photographÂ
- They need to carry original valid photo ID Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence
- Also, passport size photograph must be same as uploaded in form
- Self-Declaration Form, if issued
- Transparent Water Bottle and Hand Sanitiser
- Transparent Ballpoint Pen, if allowed

Candidates must note that NTA does not prescribe any JEE dress code, although there are clear guidelines to ensure easy entry and security checks. When appearing for exam they must follow this JEE Main dress codeÂ
JEE Main Dress Code for MaleÂ
- Candidates must not wear any clothing with metallic items.
- They are not allowed to wear cap or muffler or any cloth over their heads.
- They must wear lightweight and comfortable clothes.Â
- Wearing any kind of jewellery is strictly prohibited. Â
- Also, avoid belts as they will cause problems in security checks.
- Shoes with thick soles are not allowed.Â
JEE Main Dress Code for FemalesÂ
- Candidates must not wear any kind of stole, dupatta or scarf.
- They must not wear any jewellery or ornaments.
- They must not wear any metallic items or any clothing with metal.
- Female are also advised to wear light and comfortable clothes.Â
- Do not wear accessories such as goggles, rings, bracelets or any such items.

Yes, It is mandatory to carry printout of JEE Main hall ticket to the exam centre. Entry inside the exam hall will be permitted only on the basis of JEE Main admit card downloaded from the website.
