JKCET 2023 Application Form Releasing on 4 April; Exam to Be Held on 28 May
Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will release the online JKCET 2023 application forms on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. Registration deadlines have been also announced, check the complete details here.
JKBOPEE will conduct the JKCET 2023 exam on May 28. For the exam, JKBOPEE will start the registration on April 4 and the last date to apply has been announced as April 24. Candidates will have a 20 days registration window to apply for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET).
Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programmes in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET. After qualifying for JKCET, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.
How to Fill JKCET 2023 Application Form?
To complete the JKCET application process, the candidates had to register, fill out the form with the required details, upload scanned documents, pay the fee and submit the form. Candidates also had to upload their self-attested photocopy of the reserved category certificate/ sports category certificate with the application form of JKCET 2023. The steps to apply are as follows:
Step 1: Fill in the application form by providing the details asked.
Step 2: Next, candidates have to pay the applicable application fee.
Step 3: Next, candidates have to upload the necessary scanned documents.
Step 4: Lastly, candidates have to print the application form and keep it safe with them.
Eligibility to Apply for JKCET 2023
The candidates can fill in the JKCET 2023 application form only if they comply with the eligibility criteria. The JKCET 2023 eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates should be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the Jammu & Kashmir State.
- They must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or any equivalent examination from a recognized Institute with at least 50% (40% for reserved category).
- Candidates should have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2023. There is no upper age bar for appearing in the JKCET 2023 for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the Class 12 examination in 2023 can also apply for the JKCET.
