What After the release of JoSAA Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025?

After the allotment of round 1 JoSAA seats, the candidate must accept it and choose one of the following options: โ€˜Freezeโ€™, โ€˜Slideโ€™, or โ€˜Floatโ€™ to indicate their preference for participation in subsequent rounds of JoSAA 2025 seat allocation:

  • Freeze: The candidate accepts the allotted seat and confirms they are satisfied with the current academic program. They will not participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
  • Float: The candidate accepts the current seat but wishes to be considered for admission to a higher-preference academic program at any institute in subsequent rounds. If offered, they will accept the upgrade; otherwise, they will retain their current seat.
  • Slide: The candidate accepts the allotted seat but wants to be considered for a higher-preference academic program within the same institute in future rounds. If upgraded, they will accept the new seat; otherwise, they will continue with the current one.
