The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is likely to announce JoSAA Round 2 cutoff 2021. The authority announced the JoSAA Round 1 cutoff 2021 today (November 3). Read the complete article to know latest updates on JoSAA 2021 cutoff.

The JoSAA 2021 cutoff helps candidates get an idea about the minimum rank required for admission to IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology),Β NITs (National Institutes of Technology),Β IIITs (Indian Institutes of International Technology)Β and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).Β JoSAAΒ cutoffs are actually the opening and closing ranks for a particularΒ programmeΒ where the opening ranks denote the ranks from which admission to a particular course starts and closing ranks are the ones after which students are not admitted to theΒ programme.Β 

Seat allocation and the course and institute are decided throughΒ JoSAAΒ counselling.Β JoSAAΒ 2021 counselling seat allotment result for Round 1 was declared on October 27 and Round 2 seat allotment result was announced on November 1, 2021. Candidates will be able to check their results only after logging in to the official websiteΒ i.e.Β josaa.nic.in.Β JoSAAΒ 2021 counselling is going on and will continue till November 24, 2021.Β

JoSAAΒ started the registration for the counselling on October 16, 2021. The last date forΒ JoSAAΒ registration and fill choices was October 25. Only the qualified candidates of JEE Main 2021 and JEE Advanced 2021 were eligible forΒ JoSAAΒ counselling registration and fill their choices of course and institute on the official portalΒ i.e.Β josaa.nic.in.Β Β

Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to check JoSAA 2021 cutoffs.

Step 1: Visit the officialΒ webiste,Β https://josaa.nic.in/Β 

Step 2: Click on link OR-CR in 2021 available at the bottom of the homepageΒ 

Step 3: Enter Round number,Β instiuteΒ type, institute name and academicΒ programmeΒ you are interested inΒ Β 

Step 4: Click on β€œSubmit”
