Karnataka Government Unveils Draft Seat Matrix for 2026-27 Architecture Admissions

The Karnataka Government released a draft seat matrix for Architecture courses for 2026-27 academic year. The Department of Higher Education released the official notification on July 28, 2026. It outlines seat allocations across private unaided colleges, government institutes, and private universities based on Council of Architecture (CoA) approved intakes. 

What is KCET Architecture Seat Matrix?

The seat matrix draft released by KEA is a crucial first step for engineering and architecture counselling. Strictly on the basis of intake capacities sanctioned by the Council of Architecture (CoA) in New Delhi, the seat matrix establishes how seats will be distributed among state merit quotas, regional reservations, and management tranches

The public and institutions can submit feedback, corrections, or objections regarding the matrix:

• Deadline: Within 3 days from publication.
