KCET 2026 Special Category Certificates Submission to Start on May 5; Check Details

The KEA will start the KCET 2026 special category documents submission facility on May 5. Candidates who have claimed special category benefits in CET application form 2026 must submit the documents at KEA Bangalore official in-person as per the schedule.

KCET 2026 Special Category Documents Submission Starts May 5

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will start the facility for submission of special category certificates on May 5, 2026. Candidates who have registered under special categories like Defense/CAPF/NCC/Scout & Guide/Anglo Indian/Sports/ex-Defense/ed-CAPF will have to submit the original certificates in KEA office at 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.

The Schedule of document submission is different for all special category. Candidates have to submit the documents in-person as per the scheduled date during office hours.

Important Points for Document Submission

Candidates who will be submitting the special category documents must keep note of the following points

• Only those candidates who have claimed special category in the application form can submit the documents. Those who have not claimed, can not submit the documents
• Documents can be submitted only in-person at the KEA office only. There is no facility to submit the documents online.
• Candidates have to bring the special category certificate in original and two photocopies for submission
• Candidates who have claimed NCC and sports category must also submit the certificate of participation issued by the school, in addition to the NCC/sports certificate
• Candidates who fails to submit the documents will not be considered for special category reservation during seat allotment

KCET 2026 Exam Answer Key

The KEA conducted KCET exam 2026 from May 22 to 24 and the answer key was released on April 26, 2026. The answer key challenge window is open until April 30, 2026. Students who wish to raise objection in the KCET answer key 2026 can submit the greivances online from the website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
