KCET Counselling 2025 Dates: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to soon announce the KCET round 3 counselling dates 2025. Once released, candidates who have not yet been allotted any seats can check the KCET round 3 counselling dates 2025 online at the official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Meanwhile, today is also the last date for candidates allotted seats in KCET round 2 to report to their respective colleges and complete the admission formalities.
KCET Round 3 Counselling 2025 Dates
The upcoming KCET round 3 counselling 2025 will provide another opportunity for candidates who are yet to secure a seat or wish to upgrade their UGCET seat allotment. KEA is expected to release the detailed KCET counselling round 3 schedule, including choice filling and seat allotment dates, on its official website anytime soon now.
Reporting to Allotted Colleges Via KCET Round 2 Seat Allotment
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the KCET round 2 seat allotment 2025 are required to confirm their admission by reporting to the allotted colleges with the necessary documents and fee payment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat, and such candidates may not be eligible for further rounds.
Earlier, KEA released a notice on its official website that reads, “UGCET-2025 - 2nd round - CHOICE selection link will be kept open till 11.30 pm on 03- 09-2025. (Not be extended) Read and understand the implication of each CHOICE and then select the appropriate CHOICE. Candidate who fails to select CHOICE will not be allowed for 3rd round.”

There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only. Yes, you can still participate in the KCET counselling further grounds even if they are allotted seats. Applicants allotted seats can opt for float or sliding option from the login. If you want to get a seat in the same college but a different course then you can choose the slides option. However, if applicants is looking for upgradation in the college allotted then they must float option. If candidates choose freeze option after seat allotment then there is no provisions to participate in the further grounds of counseling.

KCET UGCET counseling is generally conducted in three grounds. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment result after the conclusion of the choice-filling process. The first two grounds of KCET 2024 counseling will be conducted for birth general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However round 3 or round 2 extended will be conducted as per the availability of seats. Candidates have to complete the KCET counseling registration as per the schedule.
