KCET 2026 Round 3 Web Options Entry Closes Today; Fill Choices by 6 PM

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the web option entry window for KCET 2026 Round 3 Counselling today, September 3, 2026. Interested candidates can exercise the web options entry upto 6:00 PM. Candidates have to login to the official website to submit and lock their preferences before the deadline in order to be considered for seat allotment.

The web options entry facility is open for undergraduate Engineering courses as well as Architecture, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy, BSc Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences.

Candidates must note that the choices filled during earlier counselling rounds (round 1 and 2) will not be considered for seat allotment in round 3. Candidate must log in and enter new choices in order of priority.

Who is Eligible for Round 3?

Applicants who were not allotted any seat in round 2 or those who cancelled their seat after paying the penalty amount can apply for round 3 seat allotment. Also, applicants who joined their allotted college after round 2 but wish to upgrade their seat can apply.

Candidates who did not choose any option after round 2, or who selected choice 4 without Medical/Dental choices in their list, are not eligible for this round.

• Click on the UGCET 2026 Option Entry Round 3 link
• Log in using your CET Registration Number and Password
• Select your preferred courses and colleges in strict order of priority
• Save, confirm, and take a printout of the final option list for future reference

Candidates must fill all preferred colleges and courses by checking the seat matrix. It is to be noted that there might be certain vacancies created during the allotment process due to consequential seats and those seats will also be considered for allotment.

KCET Seat Allotment 2026 Round 3 Date

The schedule for KCET round 3 seat allotment is yet to be announced. However, the seat allotment is likely to be released this week. Once the seat allotment is declared, candidates have to login to the website to check allotment status.

As per the details available in the official website for KCET round 3 counselling 2026, candidates will not be given the option to choose between Choice-1, 2, 3, or 4 after the round 3 seat allotment results are published. Taking admission in the newly allotted college/course is compulsory.

If a candidate is allotted an engineering seat in this round or a casual vacancy round and subsequently cancels it, they must pay the government-prescribed engineering fee along with a five-times penalty.
