KEA Issues Urgent Notice for Missing UGCET-2026 Ranks; Spot Ranks in 5 Days

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued urgent clarification for candidates whose UGCET 2026 ranks were not announced during Saturday's official KCET result release.

KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, clarified that ranks have been withheld only for those candidates who failed to upload their Class 12/qualifying examination marks.

The issue primarily affected students from CBSE, ICSE, and other non-state educational boards. Because these external boards do not automatically sync data online with KEA, students were previously instructed to input their scores manually.

No Need to Panic: Spot Ranks Promised

KEA said, affected students and parents must not panic. KEA has activated a dedicated portal link to resolve the issue immediately. Once a candidate logs in, enters their missing scores, and uploads their official marksheet, KEA will process the data and issue a "Spot Rank" within five days.
