KEA Released KCET 2026 Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Results; Objections Window Open Until July 14

KEA has published the KCET 2026 Round 1 provisional allotment results, giving candidates until 5 PM today to submit any official objections.

The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released provisional seat allotment results for round 1 of KCET 2026. Candidates who registered for KCET 2026 counselling process and made edits to the mock seat allotment till July 9, 2026can now access their provisional results on the official website.

According to the official notification issued by KEA, the provisional allotment was conducted based on the priority of options submitted by eligible candidates up to 11:00 AM on July 9, 2026. The authority explicitly stated that candidates must not report to the provisionally allotted colleges at this stage, as these results are strictly temporary and subject to change.

Candidates who find discrepancies or have specific objections regarding the provisional results such as meeting the cutoff criteria or not getting a seat despite entering valid options can submit their grievances. Objections must be sent via email to keauthority-ka@nic.in along with proper justifications before 5:00 PM on July 14, 2026.

The KEA clarified that objections concerning the non-allotment of seats due to a failure to enter options will not be entertained. Additionally, no modification or changing of choices is permitted during this window.

The final seat allotment results for the first round will be declared after the authority reviews and verifies all valid objections. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly monitor the KEA portal for further updates and final schedule announcements.
