KEA Releases Detailed Bell Timings for KCET April 22, 23 and 24 Exam Dates
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released official bell timings and schedule for KCET 2026 and the Kannada Language Test. As per the date timing, the Kannada Language Test will be conducted on April 22, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The authority has reiterated that no candidate will be allowed to enter or exit the exam hall after 10:30 AM, and all instructions must be followed strictly to avoid disqualification.
According to the notification released at its official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea, candidates will be allowed to enter from 10:10 AM, this is when the identity verification and seat allotment will start. At 10:20 AM, the sealed questionโcumโanswer booklets will be brought into the hall and shown to candidates before distribution.ย

The booklets will be handed out at 10:25 AM, giving students 5 minutes to fill in roll number and version code. Opening the booklet before the official start time is not permitted.
Students are advised by KEA to reach early, as entry will be strictly closed once the third bell rings, which is at 10:30 AM, which will also ensure the start of the exam. KEA has also outlined warning bells to help candidates manage their time effectively.ย
The first warning bell at 11:00 AM will signal that 30 minutes remain for the completion of the exam, followed by a final warning bell at 11:25 AM, indicating just five minutes left. The exam will end sharply at 11:30 AM, after which candidates must stop writing and submit answer sheets before leaving the exam hall.
KCET Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates are advised to carry KCET admit card and valid photo ID to the exam centre and report well before time. They must follow the instructions provided by the invigilator carefully.
