UGCET 2026-27 Fee Structure for Engineering and Professional Courses

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released provisional fee structure for UGCET 2026-27, outlining tuition rates for engineering, and other programs. This comes as a crucial information to provide clarity for lakhs of aspirants going through KEA counselling process.

As per the official document released by the exam body. General Merit candidates securing standard engineering seats in government colleges will pay INR47,100. However, specific core branches like Civil, Mechanical, and Automobile Engineering are incentivized at a lower rate of INR29,985. 

For government-allotted seats in private unaided institutions, fees are categorized into Type-1 and Type-2 structures, priced at INR1,20,320 and INR1,30,320 respectively. Top-tier state universities like UVCE have their fees pegged at INR56,500.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories with an annual family income under INR10 lakhs are eligible for tuition fee waiver, reducing their core fee to zero across all engineering streams.
