KEA Releases UGCET 2026 Option Entry Demo Video to Guide Students
Karnataka Examinations Authority has released an official step-by-step video tutorial to guide students through the UGCET 2026 option entry and choice-filling process.
Karnataka Examinations Authority has released an option entry portal for UGCET 2026 and to assist students in properly filling their choice KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna (IAS) has released a video tutorial detailing step-by-step procedure.
Prior to doing the choice filling care advised to keep their verification slips handy, as it contains critical details needed for verification.

The step 1 of the UGCET 2026 option entry process is visiting official KEA website and clicking on 'Karnataka CET' link. Select 'UGCET 2026 Option Entry Link 1' or 'Link 2'.

Move to step 2, which is authenticating via QR Code (scanning code on verification slip) or enter CET number manually. Select preferred channel (SMS, WhatsApp, or Email) to receive a One-Time Password (OTP). Verify OTP and clear mandatory live face-verification step via camera. Read instructions and click 'I Understand' and cross check personal details, category data, and final course rankings on the dashboard.

Pay registration fee of INR 750 via UPI, Net Banking, or Card to unlock the selection feature. Download payment receipt for future reference. After paying the fees, agree to terms and click 'Proceed to Option Entry'. Use the filter feature to select either 'Course-wise' or 'College-wise'. Add choices and click save and submit to secure the priorities.
To reorder choices, update preference number and click Update Option. To delete an entered choice, change priority value to '0' and update. Download the final 'Option Report' to view college fees and review the finalized list. After completing the details process, candidates must log out securely.
