KEA to Enhance UGCET 2026 Transparency: OMR Sheets to be Uploaded Online Same day
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna shared that KEA will upload UGCET 2026 OMR sheets online on the same day as the exam to boost transparency. This will allow students to quickly verify their responses and ensure a secure, tamper-proof process.

KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, in a significant move, has ensured transparency in the KCET examination process. As a part of addressing the media, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) exam body official has announced that the OMR sheets for the UGCET 2026 will be made available to the public online after the exam is over.
He shared that the sheets will be uploaded to the official website center-wise immediately following the conclusion of the exams to allow candidates and the general public to verify answer sheets, minimizing concerns regarding tampering or errors.

OMR sheets from KCET exam centers in Bengaluru and Dharwad will be scanned and uploaded on the same day as the exam.

For all other districts, the sheets will be scanned and uploaded as soon as they are transported and received at KEA headquarters located in Bengaluru.

As part of a push for total transparency, anyone will be able to access and view these OMR sheets from the KEA official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
The UGCET-2026, which began on April 22, 2026 will continue on April 23, and 24. It will see over 3.3 lakh students appearing across 745 centers statewide. KEA has also implemented high-tech security measures such as facial recognition and live webcasting to maintain the integrity of the KCET exam.
