KEA to Host Live Phone-In Program for UGCET 2026 Counselling Doubts

Got UGCET 2026 counselling doubts? Call into live phone-in session by KEA and Vijaya Karnataka on June 15 between 3 PM and 4 PM. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna will be answering live calls to help students and parents resolve their admission issues directly.

KEA to Host Live Phone-In Program for UGCET 2026 Counselling Doubts

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will commence the counselling process soon. In pursuit to start the counselling process for admissions of qualified candidates into professional courses under UGCET 2026, KEA Executive Director, H. Prasanna will start a phone-in session on June 15, 2026 from 3-4 PM. During this session, in association with Kannada Daily Vijaya Karnataka. During this live phone-in session, candidates will have to call on 080-40877665 and resolve their queries.

This initiative by KEA will help candidates navigate the process and clear their doubts, KEA has partnered with the Kannada daily Vijaya Karnataka to host a live phone-in session.

The interactive program is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In a move to ensure authentic guidance, KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna will personally answer questions and resolve issues raised by students and parents. 

Candidates experiencing difficulties or having queries regarding the upcoming counselling rounds are encouraged to call in during the designated hour to get direct solutions from the top official.

Questions students can ask during this phone-in live session - 

• What is timeline and verification process for non-Karnataka students?

• Can I use an acknowledgment slip, or will I lose reservation?

• How do I fix spelling differences between Aadhaar and marks cards?

• Is there a maximum number of college options allowed?

• Can we add new choices later, or only reorder current ones?

• What are the exact financial risks and seat-loss penalties?

• How many days are given to pay fees after Round 1?

• What is the final deadline and fee penalty to drop out?

• Can colleges charge extra beyond the government-fixed KEA fee?

• Can I hold an engineering seat while trying for pharmacy?

Earlier the exam body has released the KEA 2026 counselling verification slip, which candidates will have to use during the KCET choice filling.
