The KEAM 2026 application fee can be paid online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking. Candidates choosing 'Dubai' as the Examination Centre will have to remit an additional fee of INR 16,000 by way of online payment. Such candidates should give a local contact number, if available, in their application in the appropriate place.

The Admit Cards for the Engineering/PharmacyEntrance Examination can be downloaded from the website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Notification in this regard will be issued in due course. The printout of the admit card must be taken at the time of examination. The Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates who have selected the Engineering/Pharmacy course. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from this office to the candidate

Candidates who miss applying for KEAM 2026 before the deadline cannot appear for the exam. Late applications are not accepted. The last date to apply for KEAM 2026 is January 31, 2026.

KEAM engineering exam is held in computer-based test mode, and there is one paper. All questions in the exam are MCQ type. The total number of questions is 150 and each question carries 4 marks. For each wrong answer, 1 mark is going to be deducted. Total marks in the exam are 600, and the total time is 180 minutes.

KEAM 2026 entrance exam for engineering admission will have questions from  Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. While the BPharm candidates have to appear for Physics and Chemistry only. The KEAM entrance exam for engineering courses consists of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions, and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates get 180 minutes to complete the exam.

Admission Process through KEAM has two parts: an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and a centralised admission process (CAP counselling) for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses based on various national-level entrance exam scores like NEET and NATA.

The candidates interested in admission to any of these courses have to register for KEAM. However, only the UG engineering and pharmacy aspirants will have to appear for the KEAM entrance exam; the rest of the candidates will have to directly register for CAP with their applicable national-level entrance exam marks.

KEAM 2026 Eligibility Criteria for BTech is given below.

• Candidates must be 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.
• Mandatory Subjects - The candidate should have passed class 12 exam with maths and physics as compulsory subjects.
• Optional Subject - Chemistry can be an optional subject.
• Total aggregate must be 45% in the above subjects

1. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for State Educational Purpose from the Village Officer (SEBC/OEC candidates). Certificates issued for Employment purposes, Central Education purposes, etc., will not be considered for reservation
2. Caste Certificate from the Tahsildar (for SC/ST candidates)
3. Community Certificate from the Village Officer (for OEC candidates not included in Non-Creamy Layer)
4. Income Certificate from the Village Officer (for fee concession/scholarship based on annual family Income except for SC/ST/OEC candidates)
5. Non-Creamy Layer Certificates /Caste Certificate & Income Certificate from the Village Officer (Candidates included in the communities eligible for educational concession as per the G.O.(MS)No.10/2014/ BCDD, Dtd. 23.05.2014)
6. Non-Creamy Layer Certificates from the village Officer (son/daughters of Inter caste married persons of whom either parent belongs to SEBC/OEC) or Inter caste marriage certificates from the Tahsildar (son/daughters of Inter caste married persons of whom either parent belongs to SC/ST)
7. Nativity Certificate from the Village Officer (only for those candidates whose native place is not mentioned in the school certificates/birth certificates).
8. EWS Certificate from the Village Officer (for Economically Weaker sections in General Category).
9. Community certificates from the Village Officer (For Minority Community seats reserved in Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges. For candidates not included under Non-Creamy layer)
