Last day for KCET 2026 Round 3 Web Based Option Entry
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the KCET 2026 Round 3 option entry process tomorrow, September 3, 2026. KEA activated option entry link on August 31, 2026, on its official portal - keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.
This is the last opportunity for candidates to enter, delete, or rearrange their course and college choices for engineering and pharmacy admissions. KEA issued a notice that a fresh option entry is mandatory for this final phase as choices submitted during previous admission rounds will not carry forward.

Candidates who fail to log in and lock new preferences before tomorrow's deadline will forfeit their chance at final seat allocation. For upgraded candidates who already secured a seat in Round 2, their specific entry window remains open from September 2 at 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM on September 3, 2026.

It is advised to candidates to complete their entry smoothly via the Official KEA Website. Below are the steps for web based option entry -

Visit the official website and on the homepage click on the UGCET 2026 section and use application number and security credentials.

Evaluate updated Round 3 seat vacancy matrix uploaded by the authority.

Manually fill the preference by listing the college-course combinations sequentially.

Save and Submit after thoroughly reviewing finalized priority hierarchy before saving or taking a physical printout.
The provisional and final seat allotment outcomes for Round 3 are expected to be announced shortly after the submission portal shuts down.
