The State CET cell has released a notification on December 22, 2026 and has indicated that this year CET Cell intends to make Aadhaar and APAAR mandatory for all candidates registering for MHT CET 2026. All candidates who want to apply for MHT CET 2026 will have to be ready with important documents before the application process.

The Maharashtra State CET cell has released an important notice that indicates this year, Aadhaar authentication, APAAR ID generation and UDID (for PWD candidates) will be mandatory for MHT CET registrations for all candidates. Read all details below.

The Maharashtra State CET cell has released a notification on December 22, 2026 and has indicated that this year CET Cell intends to make Aadhaar and APAAR mandatory for all candidates registering for MHT CET 2026. All candidates who want to apply for MHT CET 2026 will have to be ready with important documents before the application process. The MHT CET 2026 application form is expected to be released in the last week of December 2025.

List of Documents for MHT CET 2026 Registration

Candidates have to be ready with their updated Aadhaar (UIDAI) Card. Aspirants will be required to verify and update the following details in their Aadhaar, wherever required:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth (as per Class 10 certificate)
  • Latest Photograph
  • Address
  • Father's Name
  • Mobile Number linked to Aadhaar (must be updated and active)

Apart from the Aadhaar card, candidates should also have APAAR ID, Disability Certificate and/or Unique Disability ID (UDID Card) (for PwD Candidates), and Scribe Details (for PwD Candidates in case of Eligible Disabilities) ready.

If any candidate is facing difficulty in uploading scanned images in MHT CET application form, the problem could be due to many reasons-

  • Size and dimenstion of scanned document is not as per the recommended limit
  • Slow internet connectivity 

Candidates are thus advised to check for the above mentioned points and try re-uploading their documents. In case the problem still persists, candidates can write an email/contact over phone to MHT CET Authotities.

No, candidates have to pay the MHT CET application fee online only using the available payment modes like net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets.

Earlier this month, the CET cell announced the MHT CET 2026 exam dates. The Maharashtra State CET Cell will hold the MHT CET 2026 exam in two sessions. The MHT CET 2026 exam date for session 1 is April 11 to 19 for the PCM group and April 21 to 26 for the PCB group. MHT CET 2026 exam date for session 2 is from May 14 to 17 for the PCM group and for the PCB group, from May 10 to 11.
