MHT CET 2026 Session 1 PCM Answer Key Releases Tomorrow; Objection Window Till May 22
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will release the MHT CET 2026 Session 1 PCM answer key tomorrow, May 20, on the official website. Along with the provisional answer key, the authorities will also make the response sheets and question papers available for candidates who appeared in the examination.
Candidates will be able to download the MHT CET answer key 2026 by logging in with their registered email ID and password at cetcell.mahacet.org. The objection facility against the provisional answer key will remain active till May 22. Aspirants who find discrepancies in the answers can raise objections online within the given deadline.

As per the official update, candidates must submit supporting documents or references while challenging any answer. A prescribed objection fee of INR 1000 will also have to be paid for each question challenged.
After reviewing all the objections submitted by students, the CET Cell will release the final answer key. The MHT CET 2026 result will be prepared on the basis of the revised final answer key.
How to Check MHT CET 2026 Answer Key
Candidates can follow the steps given below to access the answer key:
- Go to the website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Click on the candidate login.
- Log in using your registered email ID and password.
- The MHT CET answer key, response sheet and question paper will be displayed on screen.
The MHT CET 2026 exam was conducted for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture courses offered by participating institutes across Maharashtra. After the release of the answer key, candidates will be able to estimate their probable scores before the declaration of results. Students are advised to regularly visit the official website for the latest updates regarding the answer key objection process, final key release and result announcement.

With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. COEP and VJTI may be difficult for CSE. Government colleges like WCE Sangli, SGGS Nanded, and GCOE Amravati are also good options. You can get preferred branches in private colleges and core branches in government ones. Your chances further improve if you belong to a reserved category or have home university advantage within Maharashtra.
For the General HS category, the cutoff ranged from 4.33 to 20.54 percentile for M.Tech course specialisations. Therefore, students need to attain at least 4.33 percentile for admissions at COEP Pune. MHT CET M.Tech percentiles are required for admission to M.Tech courses at COEP, Pune.
