MHT CET 2026 Result Date Update for Session 1

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducted the MHT CET 2026 PCM exam for session 1 from April 11 to 20, while the PCB exam was conducted from April 21 to 26. This is the first time the Maharashtra CET is being conducted twice in a year. Recently, the CET Cell has also announced the MHT CET session 2 exam date. Candidates now want to check their performance before appearing for the session 2 exam.

As per reports, the MHT CET result for session 1 is expected by the end of May, while the session 2 results are expected by the end of June. Instead of an early result, students are demanding an earlier release of answer keys and response sheets to at least know their scores.

Several students are already writing emails to the CET Cell on this matter. At the start of the session, it was explicitly said that the MHT CET exam will be conducted in two sessions, similar to the national-level JEE Mains. In JEE Mains, there is a considerable gap between the two sessions, which makes it possible to release the answer key hold the objection period, and finally publish the results. However, this is not the case in MHT CET 2026, which makes it unlikely that the results will be announced before session 2.

With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. The MHT CET counselling registration started on June 28 and the last date to register for the counselling was July 11. The last date for documents verification was July 12, 2025.
