MHT CET CAP 2026 Registration Closes Tomorrow

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will close the MHT CET CAP 2026 registration window tomorrow, July 16, 5 PM. Candidates seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech courses through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) must complete their online registration, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee before the deadline. The registration date was recently extended from July 12 to July 16 to allow candidates students to complete the application process.

Eligible candidates can complete the CAP registration through the official counselling portal. Admissions will be offered based on MHT CET 2026 scores as well as valid JEE Main 2026 scores, depending on the applicable rules. Only candidates who successfully complete the registration and application confirmation process will be considered for the provisional merit list.

Steps to Complete MHT CET CAP Registration

• Visit the official MHT CET CAP counselling portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Register using the required login credentials.
• Fill in personal, academic, and entrance examination details.
• Upload all prescribed documents.
• Pay the application fee through online mode.
• Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)

What Happens After Registration?

After the registration window closes, the CET Cell will continue the document verification and application confirmation process by July 17. The authority will then publish the provisional merit list, allow candidates to raise grievances, and release the final merit list before the CAP option entry and seat allotment rounds begin. Candidates who miss the registration deadline will not be able to participate in the upcoming CAP rounds.
