MHT CET CAP 2026 Dates Revised; Registration Extended, Merit List Schedule Updated
MHT CET CAP 2026 schedule has been revised. Check the new registration deadline, document verification dates, grievance window and final merit list date for engineering admissions.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has revised the MHT CET CAP 2026 counselling schedule for admission to BE/BTech and Integrated MTech programmes. Candidates participating in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) must note the updated deadlines and complete each counselling activity as per the revised date for admission. The deadline for MHT CAP 2026 registration and document upload has been extended. The document verification timeline has also been revised, while the dates for the provisional merit list, grievance submission, and final merit list have been pushed accordingly.

MHT CET CAP 2026 Revised Schedule
Earlier, candidates had to complete the CAP registration by July 12, while the final merit list was scheduled to be released on July 20. Candidates can check the revised dates for MHT CET 2026 CAP counselling below:

What Should Candidate's Do?
Students who seek admission to engineering colleges through MHT CET CAP process must complete the following steps:
- Register online through the CAP portal.
- Upload all required documents.
- Choose either E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny for document verification.
- Check the provisional merit list once released.
- Raise objections, if any, within the grievance window.
- Download the final merit list after publication and wait for the CAP round-wise seat allotment schedule.
After the publication of the final merit list, the Maharashtra CET Cell will announce the CAP Round 1 option entry and seat allotment schedule. Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list will be eligible to participate in the choice filling and seat allotment process for engineering admissions across Maharashtra. ย
