National Science Day: IIT Kanpur startup organises quiz for Class 6 to 12 students
This is the first time that all the 1053 Government schools of Delhi will be participating in this mega online competition, the official notice informed.
A startup incubated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, AI is all set to organise an all-India level science quiz today, i.e. February 28. The quiz is being on the occasion of National Science Day. The competition is being organised for schools students studying in Classes 6 to 12.
Every year, February 28 is celebrated as National Science Day to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect and remember the accomplishments in science of the Nobel Prize-winning Indian physicist CV Rama. This year the theme of National Science Day is โIntegrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future.
Announcing the conduct of the science quiz for school students, an official notification released by IIT Kanpur said, โMarking the occasion, and as a gesture of salute to the Indian scientists AI testified is pleased to announce the All-India Level Science quiz competition, QuizFied on the eve of National Science Day. The aim of QuizFied is in the endeavor to provide an opportunity to the students to participate in the quiz and bag the title of Young Scientist of the year Award.โ
It further added, โThis is the first time that all the 1053 Government schools of Delhi will be participating in this mega online competition.โ
The quiz has been prepared in three levels depending upon different class groups, i.e. Beginner Level is for students studying in Classes 6 to 8, Intermediate Level is for Classes 9 and 10, and Advanced Level is for Classes 11 and 12).
