The exam authority has postponed the NIMCET 2020 entrance examination due to continuing adverse conditions of the pandemic COVID-19. New dates for NIMCET 2020 will be announced soon. Read details below.

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur has postponed the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2020 entrance examination due to continuing adverse conditions of the Coronavirus in the country, the date of the NIMCET 2020 entrance test is hereby postponed till further notice.

NIT Raipur is the official exam conducting body for NIMCET this year. The authority will announce the date of the exam and a detailed program will be declared shortly. All candidates who have successfully applied for the NIMCET 2020 entrance exam can download the PDF copy of the NIMCET 2020 application form by logging in to the official website.

NIMCET or National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is conducted by one of the participating NITs for admissions to their MCA degree courses in the National Institutes of Technology, University of Hyderabad, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and in Harcourt Butler Technical University. This entrance exam offers admission into full-time Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Programme. The application process for NIMECT 2020 is now over.

Due to the spread of Coronavirus scare in the country, most of the exam conducting authorities have decided to postpone major engineering exams for admission to BTech, MTech and MCA courses which were scheduled to be held in April or May. The new dates for all the engineering exams will be declared after analysing the situation.
