NIRF Rankings 2025 Announced: Check Top 5 IIITs in India

The Ministry of Education today released the NIRF Ranking 2025. Students looking to take admission into India’s premier engineering institutes, including IIITs and NITs, can check the rank of their favourite college to have clarity on Top IIITs in India, rank-wise. It will eventually help them make informed career choices during counselling sessions.

Top IIITs in India - NIRF Rankings 2025

In the 2025 list, students can find 3 IIITs in the top 100 ranks. The three IIIT colleges in India are - 

• The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, which ranks 38.
• The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, ranks 69. 
• The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, stands at 96.

What are the NIRF Rankings?

The NIRF rankings, which stand for National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is an annual rankings released by the Ministry of Education, Indian Government, every year. It is a yearly list that is developed by the Indian Ministry of Education to rank higher education institutions across the country.
