UPCET BTech 2022 counselling registration starts at uptac.admissions.nic.in; check steps to apply

UPCET 2022 BTech 2022 admission process is now open. Read to know the steps to apply for UPCET BTech counselling 2022.

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh has commenced the UPCET BTech 2022 counselling registration process. Candidates can now log in and fill out their UPCET BTech counselling 2022 form online at uptac.admissions.nic.in until September 20. Other important dates for the counselling of UPCET BTech 2022 are expected to be announced soon. Admissions will be done based on the candidate’s JEE Main 2022 scores.

Steps to apply for UPCET BTech 2022 counselling

Candidates can follow the given steps to register for the UPCET BTech counselling 2022.

• Go to uptac.admissions.nic.in
• Click on the registration link.
• Candidates will have to click on 'New Candidate Registration' and agree to the instructions.
• Next, they will have to provide their JEE Main 2022 application number, name, mother's name, date of birth and gender.
• A password has to be created.
• The required details have to be filled out by the candidates.
• The scanned photograph and signature have to be uploaded as per the official specifications.
• The preferred choice of colleges and courses has to be selected in the order of preference.
• Finally, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of INR 1000 online i.e., through net banking/debit card/credit card.

It is to be noted that fresh registrations are only permitted in the first round of UPCET BTech 2022 counselling. No applications will be accepted after the final date i.e., September 20.

UPCET BTech 2022 seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s merit, preferences and availability of seats. Once the seats are allotted, no change in the Institution/Branch is admissible. After allotment, the candidates will have to confirm their seats by paying the required fee before the final date.
