VITEEE 2021 result declared; counselling to commence from June 21

VITEEE 2021 result has been declared. Read to know the steps to download and the VITEEE 2021 counselling schedule.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has declared the VITEEE 2021 result on the official website - admissionresults.vit.ac.in. Candidates can now log in using their application number and password to check the VIT 2021 result. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination have been released through the VITEEE result 2021.

Steps to check VITEEE 2021 result

Candidates can follow the given steps to check the VIT 2021 result:

• Go to the official website
• Click on the result link
• Candidates will have to provide their VITEEE 2021 application form number and password
• Click on ‘Submit’
• The result will be displayed on the screen.
• After checking the result, the candidates can download it for future use.

Candidates within 1 lakh ranks will be eligible to participate in the VITEEE 2021 counselling process, which will commence from June 21. As per the ranks, the candidates will be called in for the counselling process.

Candidates who have secured more than 1 lakh rank will be eligible for admissions only in VIT AP and VIT Bhopal. Classes will commence tentatively from August 2, 2021.

VITEEE 2021 Scholarships

G.V. School Development Programme (GVSDP) – Under this scheme, Central and State board exam toppers will be given 100 per cent fee waiver for all four years. Candidates with ranks up to 50 will be given a 75 per cent tuition fee waiver, those with ranks 51 to 100 will be given 50 per cent tuition fee waiver and candidates in ranks 101 to 1,000 will be given 25 per cent tuition fee waiver.

Support The Advancement of Rural Students (STARS) - District toppers (one boy and one girl) in all the districts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh who are studying in Government schools in rural areas will be given 100 per cent fee waiver and exemption from hostel and mess fees.

VITEEE 2021 was held as an online remote proctored examination on May 28, 29 and 31. A re-examination for eligible candidates was held on June 10. According to the authorities, VITEEE 2021 had applicants from 31 Indian states and 8 Union Territories and more than 15 foreign countries.
