Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam 2026 ( VITEEE )
VITEEE 2026 counselling dates will be announced after the results are declared. The authorities will conduct the VITEEE 2026 counselling process online at vit.ac.in. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the VITEEE counselling to be eligible for admission into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating campuses. During the VIT 2026 counselling, the candidates will have to log in and fill out their choice of courses and campuses, as per the dates allotted to their VITEEE ranks. The selection of courses and campuses has to be done in order of preference. The VITEEE 2026 counselling fee has to be paid online, i.e, through net banking/credit card/debit card. VITEEE 2026 seat allotment result will be released online, and the candidates will have to log in to check their status. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's VITEEE 2026 rank, preferences, category and seat availability. VITEEE 2026 Counselling - Rank-wise Eligibility
The required VITEEE rank eligibility differs for certain VIT campuses. Candidates are advised to carefully check the required ranks that they need to secure to be eligible for the different campuses under VIT.
- Candidates with a VIT 2026 rank between 1 and 1,00,000 will be eligible to take part in counselling for admission in Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal (MP)/VIT-AP.
- Candidates who will be ranked above 1,00,000 will be eligible for admission only in VIT AP and VIT Bhopal.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling Process
Counselling: May ' 26
All candidates will have to participate in the VITEEE 2026 counselling process as per the phases allotted to them based on their obtained ranks. To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to pay the required counselling fee and fill out their choice of campuses and courses, in order of preference.
- Fee Payment: Qualified candidates will have to log in at the official website to register for the VITEEE counselling. Once they are logged in, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee (non-refundable) of INR 5,900 online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Those candidates who do not pay the counselling fee before the final date will not be considered for allotment.
- Choice Filling and Locking: After the counselling fee is paid, the candidates will have to choose their course and campus for admission. The list of choices has to be in the order of preference. The candidates are advised to choose more than 25 preferences, since it will let them have a higher chance of allotemnt. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be edited/modified.

VITEEE 2026 Seat Allotment
VITEEE 2026 seat allotment result will be announced online. Separate VIT 2026 seat allotment results will be released for the different rounds of counselling. To check the VITEEE seat allotment result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used by the authorities to announce the seat allotment. The authorities will allot the candidates as per their obtained rank, preferences, category and seat availability. The allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date by paying the tuition fee. In case the candidates are not able to confirm their admission before the final date, their allotment will be cancelled.

Candidates will have to submit the following original documents for verification during the admission process. If the candidates are unable to submit the required documents before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.
- Provisional Admission letter (photocopy)
- VITEEE 2026 admit card

- Class X Board Certificate as proof of date of birth or any other age proof certificate
- Qualifying examination mark statements of all attempts
- Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
