VITEEE 2026 Counselling: VIT Group of Institutions is conducting VIT BTech counselling. The VITEEE 2026 Phase II Counselling, choice-filling for phase II is ongoing. Students who have qualified in VITEEE exam 2026 with rank between 20001 to 45000 can participate. VIT counselling 2026 dates for all phases are now available.
The phase II seat allotment result will be announced on May 22. Candidates must download VITEEE result rank card 2026 using their login credentials. During counselling, students have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 5900 and fill in campus and branch choices. VITEEE 2026 Counselling - Rank-wise Eligibility
The required VITEEE rank eligibility differs for certain VIT campuses. Candidates are advised to carefully check the required ranks that they need to secure to be eligible for the different campuses under VIT.
- Candidates with a VITEEE 2026 rank between 1 and 1,00,000 are eligible to take part in counselling for admission in Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal (MP)/VIT-AP.
- Candidates who will be ranked above 1,00,000 will be eligible for admission only in VIT AP and VIT Bhopal.

The VITEEE admission process undergoes following stages -
- First, applicant has to apply and appear for entrance test
- Once results are announced, institute conducts a counselling process based on rank

VIT Counselling 2026

VITEEE admission counselling is held online. Students who qualify for VIT exam are eligible for counselling. There are separate phases of VITEEE 2026 counselling for different ranks. The VITEEE 2026 dates for counselling are updated on official website. To participate in counselling, qualified applicants have to log in and appear for counselling process of VIT BTech.
During counselling, students must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 5900 through netbanking/credit card or debit card. The fee is same for all categories. Once the payment is done, students will be able to select their course choices and campuses in order of preference. Candidates are advised to submit more than 25 preferences for a higher chance of allotment. There is no limit to add any preferences. After VITEEE 2026 seat allotment is done, candidates must confirm their admission before the due date.

The VITEEE 2026 counselling dates have been announced. Candidates can login at the portal and check their phase-wise counselling dates.
Students can fill their choices for VITEEE counselling online. First, candidates have to register by paying a fee of INR 5900 (non-refundable) and fill their campus and course choices in the order of preference. Based on merit, submitted choices and seats available students will be allotted seat at VIT campus.
The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). During the counselling registration, the students will have to pay the counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. If the fee is not paid, then the students cannot participate in the counselling process.
VITEEE Seat Allotment Process

Selection of applicants will be based on VITEEE cutoff. There will be a total of 5 rounds of counseling and will be common for all VIT group of institutions. Shortlisted applicants will have to participate in VIT BTech counselling based on their ranking. They will have to provide options for specific campus, course and category of fees during the choice filling and locking process. VITEEE seat allotment will be based on rank secured in VITEEE 2026 exam.

Selected candidates will have to upload their higher secondary examination hall ticket to download VIT BTech provisional allotment letter after remittance of tuition fees. After that, the authorities will verify eligibility after tuition fee payment. Shortlisted students will have to report to the campus and complete the document verification.
NOTE: Provisional admission offered during counselling will be valid only if eligibility is fulfilled.

List of Documents Required for VITEEE 2026 Counselling
Candidates have to submit original documents and two sets of photocopies for verification. If they do not submit them before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.
