West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will start WBJEE 2026 Phase 1 decentralised counselling registration process today, i.e., September 7. Candidates will be able to register for WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. No offline applications will be accepted. As per official seat matrix, 33,857 seats are available through WBJEE decentralised counselling. Candidates are advised to check official WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling seat matrix before registration.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling: Who is Eligible?

Candidates are advised to check official eligibility criteria before WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 registration.

  • Those who have been previously allotted in centralised WBJEE counselling and have confirmed their admission will also be eligible for decentralised process. Only after their new allotment will their previous seat be cancelled.
  • WBJEE Rank holders domiciled in West Bengal will be eligible for admission into reserved category seats offered by Government/Private colleges.
  • West Bengal domiciled candidates with WBJEE ranks will be eligible for Government colleges.
  • WBJEE rank holders not domiciled in West Bengal will be eligible for State and Private colleges.
  • JEE Main rank holders and 12th standard qualifying marks will be accepted for applicable colleges and courses.
