- Candidates will be able to choose and submit preferred choices for Round 1 allocation rounds. However, the choices will be locked for Round 2 allocation. Fresh choice filling is only allowed phase-wise.
- Fresh registrations are only open for new candidates. Those who have already registered for centralized counselling do not have to register for decentralised process.
- WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling registration fee is INR 500.
- In a single counselling phase, Round 2 allocation will only be open for those who are not allotted in Round 1.
- Candidates who have already taken admission through centralized WBJEE counselling will be eligible to apply without risking their seat. Only if they confirm their new allotment, the cancellation of their previous allotment will start.
- WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee for decentralised counselling is INR 2000.
