When Will NTA Release JEE Main 2026 Result & Final Keys? Check Expected Date and Time
When will NTA upload the JEE Mains final answer keys 2026, and what is the result declaration time? Here's when NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 result last year and what can be expected this year, read below.
The National Testing Agency will release the final JEE Mains answer keys 2026 anytime soon. The challenge window was open from February 4 to 6, during which objection gainst the provisional NTA JEE answer keys were accepted from the students. The candidates' response sheets were also released at this time, for candidates to cross-check the answers marked by them on the exam day using the provisional keys. This helped the students estimate their expected raw score in the exam.
Now, around 13 lakh candidates who took the NTA JEE Main 2026 paper 1 exam are eagerly waiting for the final answer keys. The final answer key will have the revised answers, if any changes are made by NTA as per the objections received by the candidates. The JEE Main 2026 final answer key will not be available for any further challenge and hence will form the basis of result preparation.

When Will JEE Main 2026 Final Keys and Result be Released?
As per the previous year's trends, the JEE Main final answer keys can be expected anytime soon between February 9 and 10.
As per the official announcement by NTA, the JEE Mains result will be out by February 12. In the past, it has been noted that the result is released a few hours after the JEE Mains result is released.
The JEE Main result can be available at midnight on February 12 or in the early morning.
The JEE Main 2026 final answer keys will be available as PDF at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and no login credentials will be needed to doenload it. While the result will be available as scorecards under the respective logins of the students. To download the result, candidates have to use their application number and password.
How to Calculate Score Using JEE Main 2026 Response Sheet and Final Answer Keys
The candidates should have downloaded their JEE Main response sheet, which was available until February 6 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Now, when the final answer key is released, candidates have to match the answer IDs and question Ids in the final answer key with those in their response sheet. If the correct answer to the question matches the ones in the response sheet, then candidates have to add 4 marks; for wrong answers, candidates have to deduct 1 mark. If any answer has been left unanswered, then no marks have to be deducted or added.
In case of any dropped questions in the final answer key, candidates of that particular shift have to add 4 marks.
