The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2026 result date. The JEE Main result date for session 1 has been announced as ‘by February 12, 2026’. Students who appeared for paper 1 in JEE Main session 1 exam can check their performance only through the scorecard.

JEE Mains 2026 result date is by February 12. Candidates must check the results to know their subject-wise and total percentile. NTA JEE Mains Result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2026 result date. The JEE Main result date for session 1 has been announced as ‘by February 12, 2026’. Candidates must note that this means that the result might be declared on or before February 12.

Students who appeared for paper 1 in JEE Main session 1 exam can check their performance only through the scorecard. The JEE Mains result link will be activated on the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To check the JEE result, students have to enter their application number and password.

How to Check JEE Main Result 2026?

  • Open your browser and visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on "JEE Main 2026 Result Link" or "View Scorecard" on the home page, and click on it.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password.
  • Type the security code (CAPTCHA) shown on the screen.
  • Click on the "Submit" button.
  • Your JEE Main scorecard will appear; download it and take a printout for future reference.

JEE Main 2026 Result: Normalisation Process

Since the JEE Main 2026 exam is conducted in multiple sessions and shifts, the difficulty level may vary across each. To ensure fairness, NTA uses a normalisation method to calculate the JEE Mains NTA score 2026. This normalised score reflects the percentage of candidates whose raw scores were equal to or lower than the score of a particular student within the same session.

NTA Score = (100 × Number of candidates in the session with raw scores ≤ candidate’s score) ÷ Total number of candidates in that session

JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key

Before the results are announced, the authorities will release the final JEE Main 2026 answer key. The JEE Main final answer key will be released as a pdf thus candidates will be able to access the same without any credentials.     NTA resolves tie among students having same total percentile score in the following order

    1. NTA score in Mathematics
    2. NTA score in Physics
    3. NTA score in Chemistry
    4. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test
    5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics in the test
    6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the test
    7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the test
    8. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
