Haryana School Reopening: The government of Haryana has announced its decision on school reopening in the state. In view of the declining cases of the novel coronavirus, the state government has decided to reopen all government and private schools in Haryana from December 1. However, the schools have received directions to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocols, informed Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal. The minister further tweeted that in case the number of novel coronavirus cases rises in the state in the future, the government will take decisions accordingly on physical classes.

Meanwhile, schools in Gurugram are all set to reopen from today, November 26. While the schools in Gurugram were earlier directed to remain closed until November 17 due to the severely poor air quality. The state government on November 14 announced the closure of schools in four cities- Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and Jhijar.

As per the latest development, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar recently said the Class 11 and 12 students across the state will soon receive free tablets from the government. The government has decided to spend a total of Rs 560 crore to purchase five lakh tablets, which will be given to the students studying in Class 11 and 12 in the upcoming academic session.

There are plans to give tablets to the students of other classes as well, the minister informed. Besides, Khattar informed that the government is planning to facilitate farmers as well and 15,000 tubewell connections will be issued to the farmers soon.
