956 Students Graduate at Mahindra University’s 4th Convocation; 21 Gold Medals Awarded

Inaugurates Global Centre for Risk Management in Collaboration with IRM India Affiliate

Mahindra University celebrated its 4th Annual Convocation Ceremony, conferring degrees on 956 graduating students across engineering, management, law, and education, including 13 PhD scholars.

The university has also inaugurated Global Centre for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), in partnership with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) India Affiliate.

“Today marks a new beginning for your dreams and aspirations. As you step into the world, be collaborative and continue learning. That is the key to growth and making an impact,” said G V Prasad in his address.

Anand Mahindra inspired graduates to become citizens ‘FOR and OF a better world’, urging them to lead with compassion, ethics, and purpose.

“You are not just inheritors of the world, but architects of its future. Live by your values and shape a world rooted in sustainability and justice,” he said.

Vice Chancellor Dr Yajulu Medury added, “Our students are not just preparing for careers—they are preparing to shape the world. We nurture visionary minds who challenge convention and build with purpose.”

A total of 21 gold medals were awarded to meritorious students.

Anand Mahindra and G V Prasad also inaugurated Mahindra University’s state-of-the-art biotechnology labs, strengthening the university’s focus on research and innovation.

Additionally, the university launched South India’s first Global Centre for Enterprise Risk Management, a strategic collaboration with IRM India Affiliate. The centre aims to provide globally benchmarked risk education, industry-aligned research, faculty development, and thought leadership.
