Central University of Haryana to award BTech students with B R Chaudhary Gold Medal

The Offset Printers Association will present this Gold Medal on behalf of B.R. Chaudhary for making commendable efforts in the field of Offset Printing.

Students of B Tech in Printing & Packaging Technology at Central University of Haryana (CUH) Mahendergarh will be awarded every year with B R Chaudhary Gold Medal. This initiative has been taken by the Offset Printers Association (OPA) associated with the University. As a result of which every year on the basis of a competition, the winner will be given a gold medal and a cash prize of twenty-five thousand rupees.

The Offset Printers Association will present this Gold Medal on behalf of B.R. Chaudhary for making commendable efforts in the field of Offset Printing. Expressing happiness over the beginning of the B R Chaudhary Gold Medal by Offset Printers Association, the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Tankeshwar Kumar said that this effort would certainly help in making the students understand the seriousness of the subject and prepare them according to the demands of the industry.

Parveen Aggarwal, President, Offset Printers Association, said that it is a matter of great pride for us that a prestigious institution like Central University of Haryana has started an award in honor of a teacher who has given new dimensions to the field of printing and packaging and dedicated his life for the development of this field.

In this sequence, the President of the World Print and Communication Forum, Professor Kamal Mohan Chopra said that printing is a remarkable discovery for human welfare and considering the way this industry is developing, it is necessary that such efforts continue. This initiative is noteworthy for promoting the talent of students in a prestigious institution like Central University of Haryana. Sandeep Boora, In-charge Department of Printing and Packaging Technology in the University, said that under this annual award, a competition will be organized for the students of the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology in which the winning student will be given B.R. Chaudhary Gold Medal and cash prize.
