NTA announced the results of CUET UG Results on September 15, following which various universities commenced their registration process.

All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) has demanded common CUET UG and PG counselling for central universities and participating state universities. Universities admitting students based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores have started the registration process for their undergraduate courses.

Students have to register on the admission portal of participating universities and have to make separate payments for each university. The students association has appealed to the Union Education Minister and University Grants Commission Chairman to have common counselling for all the universities as paying the fee for each university will drastically impact poor and marginalized students.

AIOBCSA in a Tweet has demanded: “We demand to conduct Common CUCET UG and PG counselling for Central Universities & participating State Universities. Applying to each University separately by paying separate application fees will drastically impact poor and marginalized students.

It has been stated that there are disadvantages to the independent admission process of CUs. “It is a time-consuming process and takes one and a half months more to start UG and PG classes. There will be chances of withdrawing from courses if students get admission to a better University or course,” AIOBCSA stated.

Central Universities like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Central University of Haryana, and Allahabad University have announced the registration process for their undergraduate courses, for these universities students, have to pay a separate fee. For Delhi University’s CSAS portal a General Category student will have to pay Rs 250 as a registration fee, while reserved category students from OBC, SC, ST, and EWS will have to pay Rs 100.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of CUET UG Results on September 15, following which various universities commenced their registration process. Over 15 lakh students participated in the CUET UG exam and will be applying for different UG courses across all the participating universities, as close to 90 universities have announced to admit based on CUET 2022 score.
