DU Admissions 2021: The Delhi University registration process for admission to Undergraduate courses will close today; i.e. August 31, 2021, for the academic session 2021-22. Students who have not applied for DU Admissions 2021 until now and are interested to pursue their desired undergraduate course from DU can apply by visiting the official website; du.ac.in. Students are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying.
The Delhi University has received over 4,35,000 applications for around 70,000 seats in various undergraduate courses till August 30, the highest so far, as per the University data. The numbers are expected to go higher with registrations continuing till today evening.
In 2020, the Delhi University had received 3,51,974 paid applications in the three-month registration window that was 1,00,000 more than 2019 (258,388). It must be noted that the registration portal was kept open for around 10 weeks last year, as compared to four weeks this year, in order to help students amid the COVID-19 crisis.
DU's first cut-off 2021 is expected to be released on October 1 and admissions to the undergraduate courses will start on October 4.
Though the number of registrations on the admission portal is over 4,35,000 so far, only 2,50,000 are paid applications. This is due to various factors, including duplicity and multiple registrations per candidate.
This year, registrations for undergraduate courses were started on August 2 by Delhi University, and online registrations for the postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD courses were conducted between July 26 and August 21. The university has recorded over 1,83,815 applications for 20,000 PG seats and 30,019 registrations for MPhil/PhD slots.

Candidates are advised to check the simple steps given below to apply for DU Admissions 2021:
- Go to the official website of DU Admissions; i.e.ugadmissions.uod.ac.in
- If not registered already, click on the 'New Registration' tab
- On the appeared login window, fill in the asked credentials
- 'Submit' the form
- You will be redirected to a new window
- Delhi University Admission forms will appear on the screen
- Fill in the details
- Upload all your scanned documents
- Pay the application fee
- Submit the form
- Take a printout and save it for future reference
