Colleges have been advised to enhance their security arrangements by deploying them especially during the night time.

The University of Delhi organized the meeting of Advisory Committee relating to the election of various Office-bearers of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU). During the meeting it was decided that candidates should to adhere to the various rules relating to the election and ensure preventing defacement of public property.

The DUSU elections will be held on September 22 this year and the last date for receipt of nomination papers is Tuesday, September 12, 2023 till 03:00 P.M.

A special committee is constituted consisting of four teams for surveying and preventing defacement of public property especially around the campus area and around the colleges throughout Delhi. This committee would work jointly with the Proctorโ€™s office and the DUSU 2023 Election Committee on a daily basis till the completion of the election process.

Candidates of all the student groups have been advised to adhere to the various rules relating to the election, such as The Code of Conduct, in accordance with the Lyngdoh Committee Recommendation.

Colleges have been advised to enhance their security arrangements by deploying them especially during the night time.
