IGNOU registration last date 2025 for all programme including masters, bachelors, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode is February 28, 2025 and the link to apply is active at ignouadmission.samarth.edu. 

IGNOU Admission Last Date 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University will conclude the IGNOU 2025 registration process tomorow i.e. February 28, 2025. Students who are willing to appear for the programmes offered by IGNOU in ODL & online mode can now apply online from the official website. The IGNOU 2024 registration link is activated at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Previously, the authorities revised the IGNOU 2025 admission last date thrice. However, students are suggested not to wait anymore to fill the admission form and complete the needful at the earliest possible. 

Meanwhile, the authorities have also extended the IGNOU application form filling last date 2025 for BEd and BSc Nursing programmes. Students willing to appear for these programmes can also enrol online from the official website. Howev, the authorities will conduct the entrance examination for these programmes. 

Steps to Fill IGNOU Registration Form 2025

Students have to follow the below steps to fill the application form of IGNOU online:

  • Visit the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
  • Click on 'IGNOU registration' link displayed on the screen
  • Enter personal and basic academic details to finish the initial registration
  • Select a username and create a password
  • Login using allotted credentials and complete IGNOU 2025 application form.
  • Make payment of the IGNOU 2025 registration fee and submit the application form. 

IGNOU will conduct the entrance examination for several programmes including BEd and BSc Nursing on March 16, 2025. Students willing to appear for these programme have to qualify the entrance examination for admission to these courses.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) provides admission to its distance course Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) on the basis of merit in an entrance test conducted by IGNOU. IGNOU allows a maximum 5-year duration to complete this degree course. The eligibility criteria for the IGNOU B.Ed. are as follows: Academic eligibility: Graduation and/or post-graduation in any subject with at least 50% aggregate (except degrees in technology or engineering, where you need 55% aggregate). Professional Eligibility: Either be a trained "in-service" teacher in elementary education or have completed an NCTE-recognised teacher education programme in regular mode. Entrance exam qualification: The IGNOU-B.Ed. entrance test.
Q:   Is IGNOU admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing merit-based?
A:

No, for admission to PB BSc nursing at IGNOU, students are required to apply and appear for a written test conducted by the university followed by a counselling session. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements need to appear for IGNOU OPENNET exam. Candidates get a seat in the course based on the exam score. The entrance test is conducted in offline mode via OMR sheets. Duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.

BSc (Home Science) specialisation in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition or PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or Graduate (BSc Hons) or equivalent (MBBS, BHHS, etc.) from the following background – Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Life Science, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical, Catering along with the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU (simultaneous admission for CFN/ CNCC is also permitted)

Counselling and Family Therapy

Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university

Environmental Science

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Science/ Engineering/ Agricultural Science/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science from a recognised university

Mathematics with Application in Computer Science

- Graduate with a major or Hons in Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate - If the seats at a centre remain vacant then: Graduate with a BA/ BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the three main subjects with equal weightage, with at least 50% aggregate and 55% aggregate in the Mathematics
