Plaksha University's new institute, IIF, obtained INR 70 crore in finance from Binny Bansal, the creator of Flipkart and xto10x.

Plaksha University launched the Binny Bansal Institute for Inventing the Future (IIF) in India.  The institute received INR 70 crore in funding from Binny Bansal, the creator of Flipkart and xto10x.  The institute's focus will be on developing answers to global concerns using AI, blockchain, and robotics.

 The IIF institute will focus on Plaksha's goal of using AI technology to address difficulties in healthcare, agriculture, energy, and environmental sustainability.  The institute will also turn academic discoveries into scalable, real-world solutions that solve local and global issues.

The IIF will focus on industries such as healthcare, the agricultural sector, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.  It aims to translate research findings into practical solutions, develop AI talent in India, and foster collaborations between universities and businesses to bring ideas to the market.

IIF cooperated with the University of California. The agreement between both universities will allow for collaborative research, student-faculty exchanges, and mutually beneficial learning.

Binny Bansal said that the university shows its conviction in the power of technology to enhance people's lives. Prof. Shankar Sastry, Plaksha's Founding Chancellor and an instructor at UC Berkeley, stated that the IIF is a significant step toward establishing India as a leader in deep technology innovation.

Plaksha University, which is funded by global business and technological leaders, aspires to transform technology education and research in India by fostering experiential education, interdisciplinary study, and creativity.
