Pondicherry University Admissions 2022: Pondicherry University has begun the registration process for admission to PhD courses for the academic year 2022-23. The Pondicherry University registration for PhD courses is currently underway for the entrance exam-exempted categories. In order to register, candidates will have to apply online by visiting the official website; i.e. pondiuni.edu.in/admissions-2022-23.

Candidates must note that the last date to submit the application form for the Pondicherry University PhD courses under the Entrance Examination Exempted Catefory is on or before November 25, 2022. 

As per the guidelines released by Pondicherry University, only those candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC, CSIR, NFOBC, NFSC and MANF or such other national level examination recognised by the university as equivalent and awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or any other fellowship for pursuing doctoral research are eligible to apply.

All those candidates who wish to apply for the PhD admission will have to register first at the University website with their names, email addresses and mobile numbers.

Candidates can check the key points for registration below:

• Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Class 10 and Class 12 board marksheet
• Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered email address, only
• Applicant must use own active email address
• Email address provided by the applicant must be functional and the applicant must have access to it throughout the admission process
• Applicants are encouraged to use latest version of Google Chrome web browser for filling the application form
• Candidates who belong to EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST category have to upload a valid certificate for claiming the reservation
