The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2023) on August 9, 2023. Pondicherry University BA BEd, BSc BEd programmes registration 2023: Pondicherry University is conducting registration process for admission to 4-year integrated BA BEd and BSc BEd programmes. Candidates registering for Pondicherry University BA Bed, BSc BEd programmes must note that admission to the programmes will be offered based on the National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2023).

In an official statement, the university stated, “Aspirants who have appeared in the NCET – 2023 as per the eligibility criteria of Pondicherry University can apply for admission to various Four-year Integrated BA BEd and BSc BEd Programmes offered for the Academic Year 2023-24.”

Eligibility Criteria

For BA BEd admission 2023, candidates should have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and should have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM). The domain subjects of the NCET 2023 to be eligible for the course is PCM. Meanwhile, candidates seeking admission to BSc BEd programme 2023, must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and should have studied political science, history, economics, English or Tamil. The domain subjects of the NCET 2023 is political science, economics and history.
