Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science (ICAR-IISS) to strengthen student training and postgraduate research in agriculture and related fields. This agreement was signed on June 27, 2019, by ICAR-IISS Director Dr. Ashok K. Patra and then RGPV Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta.

Focus on Student Training and Research

This MoU aims to promote long term collaboration between these two institutions in areas such as student training, quality postgraduate research and education. This will help students gain exposure to advanced research and practical learning opportunities in emerging areas of agricultural science.

Under this, ICAR-IISS and RGPV will work together on research projects, academic programmes, training activities, consultancy services and extension programmes related to agriculture and national development. This collaboration will also encourage knowledge sharing between two institutions and support research in areas of national importance.
