JEE Main 2022 application form releasing soon; know five important points before filling form
Check important instructions related to the application process and five important points to note before filling the JEE Main application form 2022.
NTA is expected to release JEE Mains 2022 notification anytime soon. The details about the registration process, dates, will be provided in the notification. The application form of JEE Main 2022 will be available soon after the release of the notification. The expected JEE Main 2022 application form date is February second week. Candidates are provided here with five important points to note before filling the application form.
1) Application form will be available only in the online mode
NTA will release the application form only in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill the application form from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Also, candidates need not send the filled form to the NTA office but, it is advised that they keep safe a printout of the form until the completion of the admission process.
2) JEE Main Application Fee
The application fee is different for male and female students and also varies as per the category and exam centre option. Check JEE Main application fees prescribed by the NTA. The application fees can be paid only in online mode using a credit/debit card or internet banking.

3) Documents required to fill the application form
Candidates will require certain documents while filling the application form. Most importantly, all the information in the application form like the name of the candidate, date of birth, parents name has to be as per the class 10 certificate/mark sheet. The list of documents required are

Class 10 Mark-sheet/certificate

Valid email ID and mobile photo number

4) Scanned image of photo and signature
Candidates have to upload scanned images of passport size colour photos and signatures in the online application form. The specification for the scanned images is as follows

5) Application form Correction
In case a candidate mistakenly enters any wrong information in the JEE Main application form, the mistake can be corrected during the application correction period. NTA will provide the correction facility online after the completion of the application process. Candidates who wish to change any detail in their application form will also be able to make the changes during the application correction period.
