JMI declares Class 10th Board results, girls outshine boys
Girls secured the top three positions in the merit list. Ariba Fatima topped the exam with 98.14% marks. Iram Bano with 98% of marks and Elleen Ahmad with 97.71% marks secured 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has declared the result of Class 10th (Regular) today. A total of 86.36% of students cleared the exam. Out of the total students assessed approximately 47.50% were boys and 52.50 % were girls. The result is available online at http://jmicoe.in.
A total of 408 students secured 1st division with distinction and 101 secured simple first division. Out of the 408 students who secured 1st division with distinction, 243 were girls and 165 were boys.
JMI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar congratulated the toppers and wished them a bright future. She said that those who missed securing top positions by a few numbers should not be disheartened and work hard for challenges ahead in life.
Prof. Akhtar appreciated the efforts of the Registrar, JMI Prof. Nazim Husain Jafri, Deans & other faculty members who worked tirelessly for the smooth conduct of the exam. She also appreciated the efforts of the staff members of the Controller of Examination office for the timely declaration of results.
JMI declared the result of the Class 12th Regular Board Exams on May 6, 2023, for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. Out of the total students assessed in all three streams 48.51 per cent were boys and 51.49 per cent were girls.
