KEAM 2022 Postponed to Avoid Clash with JEE Main 2022

CEE has now rescheduled KEAM 2022 examination to avoid an overlap of the exam date with JEE Main 2022 session 1.

Via an official press release by CEE, it has been notified that KEAM 2022 will be now held on July 3. The state-level examination was initially scheduled to be held on June 26. However, NTA’s decision to postpone JEE Main 2022 led to the changes in KEAM 2022 schedule. JEE Main 2022 will be held from June 20 to 29 (session 1) and July 21 to 30 (session 2).

Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) application form is available online at cee.kerala.gov.in. The last date to apply is April 30 and the last date to upload other required certificates/documents is 05:00 PM onMay 10, 2022.

How to Apply for KEAM 2022

Candidates can use the steps below to apply for KEAM:

Step 1: Go to, cee.kerala.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘online application’ link

Step 3: Click on ‘registration’

Step 4: Register using details and verify

Step 5: Fill form, upload images

Step 6: Make the payment, submit the form

KEAM 2022 will be held to offer admission to interested candidates in BTech courses at various government and private colleges in Kerala. Admission will be based on equal weightage to the marks secured in class 12 and KEAM 2022 rank list. 

The KEAM syllabus 2022 will comprise all three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. KEAM syllabus will be based on class 11 and 12 examinations. Paper I of KEAM 2022 will include both physics & chemistry sections. There will be a total of 120 questions from each of the papers. While Paper-II will contain 120 questions from Mathematics. The exam will be held in offline mode. For every correct response in the Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, candidates will be awarded four marks and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the candidate’s total score.
