AIBE 14 Certificate of Practice (CoP) for 21 states have been released. BCI has made available the CoPs for AIBE 14 in the respective state bar council from where candidates have to collect their CoPs.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the certificate of practice (CoP). The CoPs have been made available with the state bar council of 21 states. Candidates have been instructed to collect their CoP from their respective state bar councils.
The Certificate of Practice has been issued to only those candidates who have qualified in the All India Bar Examination 14. The AIBE XIV exam was held on September 19, 2021, and the result was announced on November 29, 2019. The certificate of practice for all the candidates who have qualified in the exam has been notified to be made available in the 21 states on July 22, 2021.

- Chhattisgarh
- Delhi
- Himachal Pradesh
- Jammu & Kashmir
- Jharkhand
- Karnataka
- Kerala
- Madhya Pradesh
- Maharashtra & Goa
- Manipur
- Meghalaya
- Odissa
- Punjab & Haryana
- Rajasthan
- Tamil Nadu
- Tripura
- Uttar Pradesh
- Uttarakhand
- West Bengal
The All India Bar Exam (AIBE) is the qualifying exam for the eligible Advocates or LLB degree holders enrolled with a State Bar Council to get a Certificate of Practice (CoP) and practice law in India.
To clear AIBE, candidates should obtain a minimum 40% aggregate marks if they belong to the General or Other Backward Class (OBC) category. The candidates of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) category have to achieve a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate. Also Read: How to prepare for AIBE
Currently, AIBE 16 registrations are going on and the last date to apply for it is August 14, 2021. To be eligible to apply for AIBE 16, candidates must have a 3 or 5 year LLB degree. Additionally, candidates must be enrolled as advocates with their respective State Bar Councils. However, there is no upper age limit to apply for AIBE 16.
AIBE 16 is an offline examination and is held twice a year. The time duration of the exam is 3.5 hours. The exam is conducted in 11 languages. Also Read: AIBE 2021 exam pattern
Questions in the exam are asked from different Law subjects such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Code of Civil Procedure, Indian Penal Code, Evidence Act, Family Law, Law of Contract, etc. Also Read: AIBE 2021 syllabus
