The court has scheduled the hearing in a 'special appeal' under Appeal No. 135/2026. The Allahabad HC bench comprising Honโ€™ble Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh and Honโ€™ble Justice Vivek Saran will hear the appeal by the Consortium of NLUs as a challenge against the Allahabad HC order to revise CLAT 2026 merit list.

The Consortium has submitted the urgent listing request to prevent revising the CLAT 2026 merit list merely based on a single disputed allegation. The consortium argued that revising the merit list will hamper the entire CLAT admission schedule and students' future.ย
